A Worrying Trend Emerging
By Will Harford
Over the years I've watched countless drone operators and I used to spot a simple mistake drone operators were making.
The problem only seems to be worsening. Why do operators continue to hold onto their controllers with no neck strap or body support? Holding a heavy controller, plus a screen for up to an hour with no support can put people and equipment at risk. One slip, trip or a simple case of butter fingers, could have their controller smashing to the floor with a drone still flying in the air.
So my advice if you have a drone is to make the most of that neck strap.
If you fly without a strap, it'll also mean that you're not holding your controller correctly. Check my next blog post on how to hold your controller properly, to get a more accurate stick positioning.
