It's Christmas 2017 and we're celebrating five years of offering commercial drone operations.
CloudVisual flies some of the best camera and drone technology on the market and we know it’s not cheap
Our drones and equipment can now be hired via the new rental page, where you can rent anything from the heavyweight DJI S1000 down to the tiny DJI Spark and everything in between...
Unlike a lot of other drone operators, CloudVisual doesn’t ask for any money up front. Nor do we withhold your footage until payment or watermark footage. In fact, we don’t invoice our clients until they’ve had the footage for a week. We care about our clients and don’t think it’s right to demand money up front, or to hold a client to ransom for the footage until they’ve paid.
We pride ourselves on putting our clients first, especially considering the challenges faced when filming in the UK. If this sounds like the kind of company you want to work with, then give us a call. We’ll even hold you a reserve date for free in case the weather isn’t right!
Not entirely sure why we didn’t make a big thing out of it in the first place, but in case you hadn’t seen the homepage, we’ve got our Night Flight rating.
This opens the doors to us flying drones at night and offer our clients a 24 hour operation.
The DJI Phantom 4 Pro Drone is without doubt one of the best consumer grade aerial platforms on the market. We use ours for stock footage filming and 3D photogrammetry and it never fails to impress.
Side by side, the P4P and Inspire 2 drones in h.264 are indistinguishable. Which makes it a great drone for a fifth of the price of a top tier commercial drone...
With the announcement of the Indian office now open and a new chapter in the CloudVisual book, I’m announcing the creation of the CloudVisual Group
The Group of businesses will be a global team of drone operators with integrated support channels and a means of maximising stock footage sales and promotion.
CloudVisual Group is always looking to open offices in new countries and we would love to hear from you. We can offer your business the branding, website and support channels of a multinational drone company, with no financial ties or costs. Get in contact if this sounds like something you'd want to be a part of.
It's renewal time and there are big changes this year for cloudvisual. For the first time in five years, we have not renewed our permission for commercial operations with the >7kg drone rating. We've proudly held on to this for for years now, but with the huge technical advances in the smaller drones, along with tighter restrictions on the heavier drones, it makes sense to leave the heavier category and focus on investing in the smaller and better aerial platforms.
We've had great fun experimenting with the drones and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Something we never thought would be possible was to make a timelapse at night.
With the shutter at an incredible 1 second exposure, we managed to get pin sharp images to create this 'night lapse' of a city station.
The CAA set out rules about the hours at which drones can be flown. Even commercial operators can't just head out at night and film.
