CloudVisual CAA A2 Certificate of Competency

In conjunction with the CAA Permission for Commercial Operations, commercial drone operators must hold a valid Certificate of Competency. This new certificate not only proves that the drone operator has met further stringent standards set out by the CAA, but grants reduced distances for certain classes of drones, allowing the commercial operator to fly drones closer to uninvolved people when the correct safety precautions are taken.

CloudVisual is proud to pioneer this new certification and has ensured that this qualification is in place before it is enshrined into law in late 2020.

We are committed to providing our clients with a fully certified and trusted drone service which allows flights in difficult or typically restricted areas. The A2 CofC allows CloudVisual to continue to fly drones in congested areas and even closer to the public whilst maintaining the same level of safety.
